New kayakers can come learn kayaking skills. Participants may bring their own boats via the loading dock stairs and back entrance as long as the boats are FULLY CLEANED before entering the pool. This two-and-a-half hour program covers the basics of indoor climbing including equipment, bouldering, top rope climbing, and belaying with an ATC and Gri-gri device. This program sets up an individual with no prior experience to take our belay test which is required when purchasing a climbing wall membership.
Date & Time: Every other Mondays & Thursdays, Aug. 18 - Dec. 4 from 5:30 - 8 p.m.

College Late Night Skates are Wednesday nights at the KSU Ice Arena for ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ college students with a current college ID. Guests may accompany a KSU college student, but must be 18 years of age or older and have an ID.
Cost is $5 (includes skate rental)
No cash payments at the Skate Rental and Concession counters.
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD PAYMENT ONLY (Visa, MC, Discover)
Guests must be accompanied by a current KSU Student.
College Skate Night admission sales will begin 30-minutes prior to the session start time.
Free weekly event for students every Wednesday during the academic year providing wellness education, interactive activities, and giveaways. Participants do not need to be present the entire time.

This course teaches advanced skills to be used in emergencies when help from professional first responders may be far away, such as a wilderness setting. Participants will learn to respond with wilderness first aid training when faced with limited resources, longer times to care for someone, and decisions about when and how fast to evacuate an ill or injured person. The course is great for Scouts, people who live or work in a remote setting, or outdoors adventure enthusiasts. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will earn a WRFA certification good for two years.

Black lights, neon gear, and eerie vibes set the stage for this indoor cycling event where your entry fee is a donation item to help support students in need. Dress in your brightest (or creepiest) glow-in-the-dark gear, saddle up, and ride through ghostly hills, wicked sprints, and monster climbs - all to the beat of a killer Halloween playlist.
