My name is Ella McCloskey, and I鈥檓 a communication studies major with a human development and family sciences minor scheduled to graduate in the spring of 2027. Mapping May 4 Accessible Tour
Explore the Kent campus via golf cart, with the scholars behind behind the oral histories map site MappingMay4.kent.edu. Visitors will tour the area and hear audio clips from those who experienced events at each site in 1970. Please sign up at the link below so that we can ensure there is space on the golf carts.
This free golf cart tour is offered for visitors who need mobility accommodations. We offer a secure place to store mobility devices when on the tour.
Mapping May 4 Walking Tour
Explore the Kent campus and downtown area with the scholars behind Mapping May 4. Visitors will walk approximately 2 miles to tour Kent landmarks, learning about the events leading up to, during, and after the tragic shooting in 1970. This outdoor tour will utilize the Mapping May 4 website, which draws from the oral histories in the May 4 Collection, 青年涩导航 Special Collections & Archives to better understand the events of May 4 through geography.
