  A recent study by Psychological Sciences graduate student Christina Korth and faculty member Dr. Joel Hughes investigated factors that may reduce posttraumatic stress symptoms during the COVID-10 pandemic. While we cannot always prevent traumatic stress, such as during a global infectious disease pandemic, they found that people’s confidence in their ability to cope with stress and their perceived social support helped lessen the effect of stress on symptoms of posttraumatic stress. Jennifer Moxley's path to pursuing a master's degree in translation at ����ɬ���� was anything but conventional.
