Da'Realyst Clark's 100-yard kickoff return touchdown with 5:28 remaining lifted ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ to a thrilling 21-17 victory over Merrimack on Saturday afternoon at Dix Stadium. The dramatic win marked ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½'s first victory since September 16, 2023, when they defeated Central Connecticut State 38-10.

The ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ Golden Flashes will open their 2025 football season Saturday when they host Merrimack College at Dix Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for noon.

ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ alumnus Antonio Gates was officially enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Aug. 2, delivering an emotional speech that highlighted his years as a Golden Flash and thanked the coaches who helped launch his improbable journey from college basketball to NFL stardom.

Two ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ alumni will be in the spotlight this week as the Pro Football Hall of Fame celebrates its Class of 2025, with Antonio Gates set for enshrinement Saturday and Mary Kay Cabot receiving prestigious recognition for her four decades of sports journalism excellence.

Mary Kay Cabot's career covering Cleveland sports began with a simple internship at The Plain Dealer while she was a student at ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½. More than 40 years later, that internship has led to the highest honor in professional football journalism.

Former ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ quarterback and New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman has been voted into the Patriots Hall of Fame as the 37th inductee, the team announced Monday.

With only one month left in their regular season the Golden Flashes Women's Lacrosse team's schedule includes two more games at home an a road trip to Akron. 

On March 19, the ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ Tuscarawas Golden Eagles volleyball team was recognized in the Ohio State House of Representatives by Jodi Salvo and the State Senate by Al Landis for their outstanding achievement in winning the 2024 USCAA Division II National Championship.

ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ will now travel to Loyola University Chicago for the quarterfinal round. The Golden Flashes and Ramblers will tipoff on Wednesday, March 26 at 7:00 p.m. eastern time inside Gentile Arena.

The ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ Golden Flashes men's and women's basketball teams gave their fans nothing to be mad (angry) about this March! Both teams ended their exceptional regular season play and continued on to play in the Mid-America Conference Tournament at Cleveland's Rocket Arena. The men's team also went on to play in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT). 

ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ Men's Basketball (21-11) has punched their ticket to the National Invitation Tournament. 

ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ alumnus Antonio Gates has begun his journey to football immortality, recently visiting the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, to meet with officials and begin preparations for his enshrinement. The former basketball standout at ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ will become just the second Golden Flash to earn a gold jacket, joining linebacker Jack Lambert who was enshrined in 1990.
