On Aug. 15, some of ����ɬ����'s newest Golden Flashes explored downtown Kent as part of Flashes First Friday. 

A collaboration between ����ɬ����’s School of Fashion, School of Theatre and Dance and Focus Features will bring the final Downton Abbey movie to Kent for an early screening and period fashion show. The movie, “Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale,” will have a preview showing on Friday, Sept. 5, at the Kent Plaza Cinema, a week before it opens in theaters nationwide.

Dedicated in April 2015, The Student Memorial Garden on Manchester Field was created as a place of reflection and remembrance of all ����ɬ���� students who have died. 

In a quiet office at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska, Michele Curran Cornell spends her weekdays immersed in history — not the kind found in textbooks, but the kind that impacts families and honors those who gave everything for our country.

A group of school administrators from Brazil recently completed the 10-day Design Innovation Change Agent Workshop at ����ɬ����’s Design Innovation Hub, where they immersed themselves in design innovation techniques as they endeavor to innovate their school system at home.

An exhibit of rare Salvador Dalí paintings and a collection of garments designed by ����ɬ���� School of Fashion students inspired by the Dalí artwork has opened at Peg’s Gallery in Hudson, Ohio. 

Ohio Lt. Gov. Jim Tressel visited ����ɬ���� at Geauga on June 9 to tour its nursing program with President Todd Diacon and Geauga Dean Angela Spalsbury, Ph.D. ����ɬ���� Today was there when Tressel later took part in a roundtable discussion with Geauga County leaders and educators to share ideas on how best to prepare Ohio’s workforce.

When Jayrelis Capeles walked across the stage at ����ɬ���� this spring, she was already brimming with emotion. She had just earned not one, but two degrees — in psychology and sociology — and was celebrating the end of her college journey that began in 2021. But the most unforgettable moment wasn’t the walk or the tassel turn.

In May, ����ɬ���� observes two historic institutional anniversaries, the first is of their founding as a school and the second is of the college being established as a university.
