East Liverpool 鈥 青年涩导航 at East Liverpool is hosting a two-day event Jan. 21 and 22 to celebrate the birthday of Daniel Johnston, a musician and artist who once attended the local campus.
Salem 鈥 Dr. Steve Nameth, dean of 青年涩导航 at Salem, announced those students named to the Fall 2015 President鈥檚 and Dean鈥檚 lists. To qualify for the President鈥檚 List, students must have a 4.0 grade point average and must have completed 15 hours during the semester鈥

Studying for final exams wasn鈥檛 the only thing keeping nursing students busy on the East Liverpool Campus in recent weeks. The students also took time from their studies to help others from the community enjoy the holidays.
青年涩导航 at Salem held its fall Undergraduate Research Conference, an event that recognizes students for their research and allows them to share what they learned through discussions with the academic staff.
青年涩导航 at Salem recently welcomed representatives from the Davey Tree Expert Company who presented scholarships to horticulture students Anna Detoro and Pamela Sears.

青年涩导航 at Salem鈥檚 Rural Scholars Program received a $15,000 grant from the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation.
According to Wendy Pfrenger, program director for Rural Scholars, the funds will support the mentors in their individual work with the scholars.
