3. Review your personal information and update if needed:
   1. Name: Your legal name will be used for diplomas, transcripts and commencement ceremony purposes.
      1. Any changes to your legal name need to be made with proper documentation by submitting a Legal Name Request Form by November 7.
   2. Diploma Mailing Address: Please be sure to update your diploma mailing address by December 5 to ensure that you receive your diploma.
4. Remove a Student Directory Restriction

RSVP FOR COMMENCEMENT: August 22 - October 1

Each graduate who RSVPs their attendance will be allocated 6 guest tickets, cross the stage, and have their name announced.

• Pending graduates, check your ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ email inbox for your unique commencement invitation.
• Email graduate@kent.edu if you missed the deadline to RSVP your ceremony attendance. 

Each graduate who RSVPs will be allocated 6 guest tickets. Tickets will become available for download on November 17.

• Tickets cannot be printed on-site.
• If you need assistance, contact the Office of University Events and Protocol immediately. Office staff will not be available on event day to assist with ticket downloads.
  • All guests 2 and older must have a guest ticket for entry into the ceremony venue.
  • Graduates can transfer tickets to guests by phone number or email address under their account on the ticket website and/or download them to an Apple or Google mobile wallet.
• A live simulcast of the ceremony will be available in the Student Center KIVA for guests without tickets.

• Grad Fair will take place at the University Bookstore located at the Kent Campus Student Center. Stop in for a chance to win a raffle, purchase your cap and gown, and enjoy light refreshments. GradImages will be there to take headshots and cap and gown photos. Josten's will be available to assist with purchasing your announcements, class rings, and more!
  • Saturday, September 27 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Monday, September 29 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Unable to attend Grad Fair? Visit the University Bookstore during normal business hours or place your  by October 31.
  • The deadline for Doctoral regalia purchases and Doctoral rentals is October 17. 
• Reach out to the bookstore via email at SM8152@bncollege.com with any questions.

• ADA Accommodations: Contact University Events and Protocol at graduate@kent.edu if you will need assistance with ADA accessibility at the ceremonies.
• Ceremony Reporting details will be sent to graduates' ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ emails prior to the ceremonies.

• Check your student account balance
• Complete Student Financial Aid Exit Loan Counseling
• Is there an instructor who motivated or helped you become engaged and responsible as a university student? If so, take a moment to say thank you.
• Participate in Alumni Events and Programs
• Post-Graduation Survey
• View your Commencement Ceremony Online

ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ has partnered with Parchment Inc. to improve the diploma fulfillment process for graduates of ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½. Upon final degree approval, the graduate’s diplomas will be fulfilled by Parchment.

• Your digital diploma will arrive approximately 4-5 weeks after commencement. Watch for an email notification.
  • Notification will be sent to your ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ email.
  • Follow the link to set up your Parchment Digital credentials account.
  • Share and download your digital diploma as many times as you like.
• Paper diplomas will be mailed separately to your diploma (if listed) or permanent address on file 7-10 days after you receive your digital diploma.

To verify a diploma or permanent address:
