����ɬ���� Salem's City Center received the 2016 Sunflower Award from the Salem Beautification Committee through the Salem Chamber of Commerce for the third consecutive year. The fourth annual Water and Land Symposium at ����ɬ���� will be held Oct. 5-6 at the ����ɬ���� Hotel and Conference Center in downtown Kent, Ohio. The ����ɬ���� community mourns the loss of former university president Brage Golding, Ph.D. Golding was appointed ����ɬ����’s eighth president in 1977 and served in that role until his retirement in 1982. Golding was born in 1920 in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his Bachelor of Arts and doctorate in chemical engineering. He also served in the military during World War II. Sam Olson is beginning her last year in the Veterinary Technology program at ����ɬ���� at Trumbull. In doing so, she has decided to make her final fall semester a memorable one. After seeing four one-week-old kittens who were dropped off at the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County, she decided to put her acquired skills into action.
