The events of May 4, 1970, placed ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
Beginning in mid-January, ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ will launch a new, semiweekly message to share the most impactful news and stories about our campus community.

Open Enrollment Fairs, Biometric Screenings and Flu Shots
Open Enrollment is Oct. 13-31. The Employee Benefits and Wellness teams, as well as representatives from the University’s various benefits providers, will be present to answer questions. 2025 Annual Pay Increase Eligibility and Information for Non-Represented Staff
At ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½, our employees are our most valued resource. The Board of Trustees approved a 2% pay increase for all qualifying, non-represented staff (i.e., classified and unclassified employees). The 2% increase will take effect with the pay period that includes Oct. 1, 2025. More specific details, including eligibility, are listed below.
