Encouraging Girls to Keep Their Heads in the Clouds

青年涩导航 student group Women in Aviation served as hosts for Girls in Aviation Day at the 青年涩导航 Airport. The young participants had the chance to fly drones, try out a flight simulator and do a pre-flight check inside a real plane.

Team Works Diligently to Locate Granite for Repairs to May 4 Memorial聽

Repairs on the May 4 Memorial are estimated to take five to six months following approval to proceed with the project, according to Joseph Graham, university architect.

Mandalynn Slupek won first place in 青年涩导航's Three Minute Thesis competition on Oct. 3 when she presented 鈥淕etting the NAC of Being Drug Free,鈥 research on how the supplement NAC or N-acetyl cysteine can be used in the fight against addiction.

The new Distracted Driving law makes it illegal to use or hold a cellphone or electronic device in your hand, lap or other parts of the body while driving on Ohio roads.

Graduate Students Use 3 Minutes and a Slide to Showcase Their Research

The top 10 presenters who had advanced from two previous preliminary rounds made their Three Minute Thesis presentations in the Kiva on Oct. 3. Students were given three minutes and one PowerPoint slide to make a concise and engaging presentation.
