Pulp Juice and Smoothie Bar Rebrand
Since 2005, Pulp has served up delicious smoothies from Kent, Ohio, to over 50 locations nationwide. VCD senior Alex Miller, '25, gave the brand a complete overhaul with a new visual identity to create a cohesive brand experience. His mural reflects Pulp's vibrant energy and fresh ingredients.

In today鈥檚 world of design and emerging technologies, digital production is a tool that鈥檚 widely used and here to stay. Assistant Professor Chad Lewis in the School of Visual Communication Design is incorporating these new technologies into the classroom to further develop students鈥 creative problem-solving abilities.

Creating Social Change through Storytelling, Advocacy and Strategy
For four semesters, the Media and Movements course, offered within the College of Communication and Information, has given students the opportunity to explore social movements of our time through storytelling, strategy and advocacy. In the Spring 2021 semester, students worked with Coleman 鈥Senior Creative, RYOT Studios (NYC)
Isaac Versaw launched his career in advertising and visual communication design in New York City. At his job at RYOT, an immersive film studio that started by making social impact documentaries, his work is focused on advocacy and action.
Undergraduate Programs
The school offers four baccalaureate programs of study: the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Visual Communication Design, Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Visual Communication Design, Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Photography and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in User Experience Design (in partnership with the School of Emerging Media and Technology).
