Students to Take a Study Break During Finals Week With Dogs, Food and Fun
ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ Libraries will once again provide the Stress-Free Zone on Monday, Dec. 12, and Tuesday, Dec. 13, from 3-5 p.m. in the University Library. The library hosts this event at the end of every semester in order to give students, faculty and staff the chance to unwind during finals week.

The Stress-Free Zone returns to the ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ Library on Monday, May 9, and Tuesday, May 10, from 3 - 5 p.m. to give students a break from studying for finals. More than 100 reel-to-reel audio recordings pertaining to the May 4, 1970, ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ shootings and their aftermath are now accessible through the ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ Special Collections and Archives’ digital repository. Some of the recently digitized items include previously inaccessible audio recordings of radio call-in forums, a speech by ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ President Robert I. White the day after the shootings, a press conference with six students who met with President Richard M. Nixon just days after the shootings, the Scranton Commission hearings and a speech made by Dick Gregory at the ÇàÄêɬµ¼º½ Memorial Service in 1971.
