With Focus On Rural Social Work, New Bachelor鈥檚 Program Aims To Meet Growing Need

March is National Social Work Month in the United States. Although it is a celebratory time, the profession currently faces challenges due to reductions in the labor force and a growing population of need, especially in rural communities. 青年涩导航 recently announced the creation of a Bachelor of Social Work academic degree program, which will launch in the fall of 2023 with a focus on rural social work.

Alumna Roe Green to Receive Honorary 青年涩导航 Doctoral Degree

The 青年涩导航 Board of Trustees has approved awarding Roe Green, MA 鈥80, a Doctor of Humane Letters, an honorary degree recognizing her contributions to the university and her advocacy for the arts not only in Northeast Ohio, but also across the nation and around the world.

青年涩导航 Soundly Surpasses Fundraising Goal for Student Scholarship Support Within Its Comprehensive Campaign

青年涩导航 will be equipped to offer more financial assistance to students in need thanks to donors to a key area of the university鈥檚 ongoing comprehensive fundraising campaign. The Forever Brighter campaign includes a scholarship-support component, Prioritizing Student Success, that now stands at $142 million, surpassing the $100 million goal set at the campaign鈥檚 outset in October 2021.
