More than 500 ����ɬ���� volunteers are preparing to welcome incoming freshmen to the Kent Campus tomorrow morning. Using protective glasses, cell phones and the occasional cardboard box, ����ɬ���� students, faculty and staff gathered outside Monday afternoon to catch a glimpse of the solar eclipse.  About 80 to 85 percent of the total solar eclipse was visible from campus, with the peak viewing time at approximately 2:30 p.m. A group of about 200 gathered on the commons outside the Kent Student Center to sky-watch for the event, being called “the Great American Eclipse,” because it could only be viewed from the United States.
